Dr. Charles Zaroff is a Pediatric and Adult Neuropsychologist at The Center for Cognition, Emotion & Behavior, P.C. Dr. Zaroff performs neuropsychological assessments and interventions with children and adults.
Dr. Zaroff has worked in both clinical and academic capacities, as appointed faculty staff at both hospitals and universities. Most recently, Dr. Zaroff served as an Associate/Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology in the University of Macau, in Macao, a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. He has published book chapters on cultural and gender aspects of neuropsychology, and is the lead editor of the text, The neuropsychology of men: A developmental perspective from theory to evidence-based practice, a title in the Issues of diversity in clinical neuropsychology series, published by Springer. He is also the author of peer reviewed research in varied topics, including developmental disorders, and neurological and psychiatric conditions, with a particular emphasis on autism and the behavioral presentations of genetic disorders.
Dr. Zaroff’s scholarly research and writing has informed his clinical practice. In his work with toddlers, children and their parents, he utilizes play and behavioral modification procedures, and principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with children and adults.
